Working at Wyoming Valley Montessori School
Wyoming Valley Montessori School is in Kingston. It was founded in 1970 by a group of parents drawn to the educational philosophies of Dr. Maria Montessori. It opened with twenty students and one teacher.
Today the staff numbers more than thirty, and the children range from eighteen months through twelve years. The school is fully accredited by the American Montessori Society and the Middle States Association Commission on Elementary Schools. It is hiring substitute teachers to fill needs as they arise.
