Each program is built around what that age can do next.
18 to 36 months
Toddler rooms are calm and low to the ground. Children choose work, practice putting things away, and learn to move through the room with care. Teachers observe before they guide. A child might sort objects, pour water, or watch a friend before joining in.
3 to 6 years
In Primary, children move through the room at their own pace. They choose materials for practical life, language, and math, and they repeat an activity until it is done. A teacher gives a lesson, then steps back. Mixed ages mean children teach one another.
6 to 9 years
Lower Elementary children plan more of their own work. They read, write, and work with math materials at their own pace, then gather for group lessons. A child may research a question alone or with a partner. The room stays quiet enough to think.
9 to 13 years
Upper Elementary children take on longer work and more responsibility. They write, research, and present what they have learned. Group projects ask them to plan, divide tasks, and see something through. Teachers guide, and children begin to lead.
all ages
Before and after school care is offered to families of Toddler, Primary, and Elementary students. The hours begin before the school day and continue after it ends. Children stay in familiar rooms with familiar adults. Families can ask the school for the times that fit their schedule.
